EBC Brake Pads?

I run EBC on all my other vehicles. They work great on everything. I prefer green on the Camry, Celica, Sienna. Trucks (taco, runner, tundra and cruiser used yellow. My sports cars in the past get Hawk pads.

Currently both my 80s run EBC yellows front and rear and stop great. Yes they create more dust but you drive that truck off-road.

I just decided (today) to upgrade my fronts to EBC Blue Stuff 100 pads on new OEM rotors on one of my cruisers. Did a test drive and they stop way better than the 80 yellows. I'll know next month how much better they are to the 80 yellows when I tow my 3 ton trailer to Moonlight Madness

Are the Blue’s still stopping way better than the yellows they replaced? Or was it just the break in compound stuff that wears off super fast for bedding.

Won a photo contest on another forum and the prize was a set of brake pads from EBC

Since the cars I actually used in the contest all have fresh pads and are barely driven, I had them send me a set for the Cruiser instead

They gave me a choice between their yellow pads (heavy duty) and their green pads (light duty)

I went with the green since they said the yellow is a bit harsh on rotors

Anyone here use these?

How are they compared to the OEM pads in terms of noise, dusting and overall service?
This using Green Stuff rather than Yellow Stuff are missing out on the bite and power of the later. I live in the mountains, and these work BEAUTIFULLY!

GreenStuff 6000 stops well but the dust is crazy. I think the 7000 is worth the extra change to reduce cleaning. They also wear out very fast. I'm going to Akebono pads this time around. EBC rotors are the bees knees though.

I put the blue’s on the front last time, yellow rear (no blue available yet). Living on a dirt road dust is not really a factor in my decision making only max stopping power. I’ll see how long they last. I’ll be happy with 20K. Part numbers are in my build thread, use link in signature line.

Roached a pair of green stuff pads on my GX460 switched to orange stuff/extra duty pads and absolutely love them.

Have green stuff pads on the lighter 4runner and they are doing well.

I specifically was trying to improve braking performance as both vehicles are driven over 600 miles a week commuting.
