[is this the same guy that was selling the HJ45 a while back???[/quote]

Yep, same guy, Liberty Motor Co. in Hendersonville. Looks like some frame damage in the rear with rust.

yeah it is def. a little rusty, but none the less cool to see a 70 series so close to home :D

I wonder where he is bringing them in from, I guess Canda??

That 45 he had last time he bought from some guys in Texas who had just brought it into the US from Central America.

Guys in Texas sold it to the guy in H'ville for $10K and the guy in H'ville sold it for just over $15K IIRC. Not bad business if you have the buyers.

The guy who bought it from Liberty is the president (son of the original founder / owner) of one of the largest Toy dealers in the SE - I think in 'Bama.

He had purchased over 35 older / rare cruisers and in a few years is going to take some of his body guys from the dealer and start a big resto opertation.

Hmmm. Very similar to a talk TurkeyPen and I had on top of the bald in Cullowhee not too long ago... :grinpimp:

I don't know anything about the 70 but the guy at Liberty seemed to be nice and will answer your questions.
