Hilux- you're quite easily influenced by marketing and you're not open to giving new products a chance, it seems.
You seem wrong... I'm a realist, remember? That means I'm not naive to everything that just comes down the pike, "b/c it's new and untested"

and I know you get what you pay for...
I also know how much gears are, and know the average person doesn't do their own. The solution? Learn to do them yourself and save that difference in LABOR alone! I just think it's foolish to get to this point and cheap out... See my last post...
EDIT: And I've said it before and I'll say it again... If you can afford to drive an 80 series and need to make financial decisions like saving $400 on cheap lockers... You need to find yourself another 4WD. There are plenty out there not as expensive to operate.
Have you looked into the TJM locker? Oh wait...it's cheaper, and saving money with a cheaper product is "ridiculous"- better to buy the more expensive product, lest risk being seen as one of those who should "find a less expensive to own and operate 4WD". BTW I've got a bridge to sell you. It's even got the ARB label on it, and it's expensive, too! Right up your alley.
Are you really this narrow sighted? Until TJM's reputation is questioned, and until they're made in China WTF does anything you're saying have to do with the conversation at hand?
From only the second sentence from the link you posted.... did you actually read any of it??
Even if the parts are made in china. They are assembled by Yukon over here. That means they have quality control in the hands of Yukon.
I read somewhere, and I'm not rereading it, they (pretty sure on Pirate) said the spiders were 4320...
There is a whole lot more "internals" to a diff than spiders you know... If it's not the case, everything's "internal"
i have emailed the folks over at TJM about purchasing their air locker and they have said they are working on setting up a distributor here in the US.

I would advise against this. The grizzly is just a cheap knockoff of a detroit locker. zip locker is a cheap knockoff of an arb.
ARB lockers are strong & proven, in this case you get what you pay for. In my opinion with the knockoffs you get less than what you pay for, even though the are a bit less money. Just youtube "yukon zip locker" and watch the video.
As for the eaton e-locker, this may be a decent option, but they are not readily available in the us. Why not arb?
What do you know?
please, please... I'm just messing with you...
AND YOUR BIASED OPINION!!! Prove it! I want facts!!!

sorry, got carried away...
