I don't know much about price on the early stuff. I was thinking $2500. Is that crazy?
You have to start somewhere and that price is a good start. There doesn't seem to be as much of a demand for the earlier tops as there is for the mid-60s to 80s tops. Just need to find the right buyer. Unfortunately the 40 market as of late has become a bit soft. So you may want to keep that in mind if you don't get any bites on your top.

Thank you Brother. Id take a reasonable offer for sure, I'd rather someone enjoy the top than let it rot. Market is def down on all series right now seems, lol.
It would help your sale to take some pictures of the lower portion of the inside portion of the door and sides.
