Early 40 series half steel, half soft door?

Curious if anyone wanting half doors has just removed the top frame from late sixties or early 70’s doors. Also can you get a soft upper half of the older door style that mates up to the steel lower door?

Rebuilding this era door and the seals seems kinda involved and expensive. I’d like to have a soft eisenglass plastic window that simply unzips and folds in like old jeeps. Basically steel halfdoor with soft window - same as a Jeep. Oddly enough it seems the FJ40 has a soft door with a steel upper frame? Is that what I’m seeing on SOR? Opposite worlds.
