Two questions::cheers:

1. Can I run E85 ethanol in a stock 82' fj60 with a 2F?

2. Will it help me pass emissions if I am just a little over on CO?

If my carb adjust. doesnt work then i am going to put
a half a tank in and i will see if it truely works, How
much is E85 a gallon? by the way

I run e85 in my 40 w/no problems.. just a idle adjust was required..I dunno about emission? I don't have to worry about that where I'm located.. I do know it runs cleaner.. I can run with my rear hatch open now.. never could on reg.gas.. my tailpipe went from a sooty black to grey in color & it's only 1.80$pg here in c. Tx

E85 is supposed to burn cleaner that regular gas so I would think it would help you with passing emissions.

One method is to run a tank of high octane until it's nearly empty, add a couple of bottles of Heet, then immediately go to the emissions station. Not sure why, but having almost no fuel in the tank helps. This is how I was able to get my 60 to pass in Denver.

I'm about ready to try just about anything short of spending a bunch of money at a mechanics.
