land of enchantment, at least for now
Now that my long daily commuting is coming to an end, I want to make my 45 my DD. I pulled it out yesterday to do some tuning and the heater core is shot and the fuel pump is leaking also.

Any source for early heater cores? I have another one, but expect it would shortly be in the same boat with leaks.

What's the difference between e-9/73 fuel pumps and 10/73-?? fuel pumps? SOR shows a different p/n, is the difference just having the primer lever?

I installed a '77 heater core in an early box, using some foam here and there to prevent air leaks. Works great. I don't believe there is a source for replacement early heater cores.

Thanks Steve, I'll look into that. Too bad I haven't kept any of those around.

I'm selling off part of my fleet (mostly my non-Cruisers) to move down the road. Hopefully I can put some of that money into finally finishing the 45 I bought up your way. The stock 45 will be my DD after 8 years of mostly sitting.

cheers
