I bought this 80 several years ago with zero intention of selling it, but I find myself in a situation where I need a lot of cash very urgently and my 80 is one asset that I can liquidate to meet the need. My bird dog (10 month old pup) was poisoned and has been in what I can best describe as veterinary ICU for 3 days now. The bill will likely cross the 5 figure mark tonight and we're still going for several days unless his condition worsens and we let him go. I am working to liquidate other assets as well and if I'm able to generate the cash needed in other ways I'll pull my 80 back off the market and resume the project once time and money permits. This could not have come at a worse time as I literally just went "all in" and made a huge inventory purchase for my business so nearly every dollar I have is tied up in inventory that will take me a few weeks to move.
I am not desperate and will dump inventory from my business or before I take lowball offers on this 80. Also, I am not interested in selling any parts/accessories separately unless the buyer wants to exclude something to get the total purchase price down, at which point I will list said items for sale after the vehicle is sold.
This 80 runs and drives, but needs some re-assembly to be road/trail ready. Biggest highlights & changes to note:
250k miles +/-
Headgasket replaced at around 225k miles
Labs rear bumper was sold
Roof Rack was sold
Slee 4" lift installed by previous owner
slee shortbus bumper, slee sliders, warn winch installed by previous owner (not pictured but included)
re-geared to 488 and part-time 4x4 converted back to full-time by Proffit's
ARB drawer kit (2 drawers with 80 series fit kit)
5x Yokohama MT and new Method wheels (have right at 800 miles on them)
I turned this 80 over on the DS but have replaced the entire body/doors form a clean Sage 40th Anniversary. While the body was off we spent A TON of time repainting the frame, replacing body mounts, rear heater hoses, etc. etc. etc.
I have s***loads of parts that I will include with the sale. Many new OEM toyota/Denso/etc., many pieces and parts from a few 80 series part-outs. Too much stuff to list but will be happy to do a walk through of parts with serious buyers.
2 spare hoods (one sage, one from a champagne 94)
2 spare doors (sage)
spare fenders
There's so much I can't remember to include in this post and will do my best to answer questions ASAP. I'm out of state working and can't get home until Monday evening but will answer any questions as best I can in the meantime.
I'm asking $17000 for everything.
