swapped my tires today from my 33x15.5 TSL/SX to 32x11.5 Dueler M/T. The ride difference on the street is like night and day not to mention the increase in power and easibility of steering. i have noticed though that the M/Ts are louder than the TSLs were. whatsupwiththat??????

If the duelers were used I could certainly understand, but usually radial muds are quite a bit quieter than swampers. If the duelers were on an ifs truck with alignment issues they can be so freakin loud it'll drive you nuts.

I ran 285/75R16 Dueler MT's on my Tacoma and was pretty happy with them. Mine were not very noisy at all and had excellent tread wear. If the noise is too much to deal with, I'd definetly look at all the other possible stuff that could contribute to such a problem, good luck.

it's not that it's too much to deal with, i just find it odd that any m/t would be louder on the street than a swamper.

I just put on a set of Ground Hawg radials and I was blown away by how quiet they were compared to my old stock street tires--no appreciable increase in noise that I could tell.
