hey everyone iam wondering when i get ready to install my dual case should i take the whole tranny off or does it not really matter?

Any time I need to remove the trans, to do a clutch or somthin, I always remove the tcase then drop the trans.
its really easy to do. I just bench press it out and in. The t case i swear is heavier than the trans.
Unless you have a floor jack, getting 2 cases BACK up there my be a little difficult. I have done it with out a jack. Just make sure you stock up on your Wheaties.

hahah ok sounds good. but basicly you dont have to take your trans off to put the cases back on correct? or do u recomend i take it off because it easyer?
keep the trans on there. if you bolt both transfer to the trans, and then try and install it, it will be very hard. even with jack, getting it lined up with the clutch disc and dowels will be tough.
