Forgot to mention, when I spoke to Nick the other day, he mentioned that his kit (at least the one he's planning on marketing) included a resonator, which seems to be contrary to the OP's setup. He also stated that it would be fully bolt-on (no welding).
Same results here. I won't pretend to know what its like to market and manufacture performance auto parts, but does it really take this long to figure out a price?
Just spoke with nick. Today they are having a big meeting and this is going to be discussed. He says I should hear something today regarding price and availability.
On another note, they have a vvt lx470 in the shop. Passenger side header is done and drivers is being worked on as we speak.

Info is correct per Jeets. I spoke with Nick today and he confirmed that production for the 1st 40 cat-back systems is in process; these will be available ~Friday, 07 SEP 2012, @ $450.00 ($100.00 deposit required). I kinda expect that there will be a few more made in this lot.
Details confirmed for system:
Will be direct bolt-on, 304 Stainless, high clearance (clearance for aftermarket skidplates) with NO BACK RESONATOR and tip angled like the development/proto shown on Beast-o-matic. This will fit all years (98-07), and now that the devo on the VVT headers is nearing completion, life should be good for all. Nick also said that they have a response letter from CARB, but the official EO letter & number haven't been issued. Soon.
I'm going to start a new thread (DT CAT BACK 1st PRODUCTION RUN BUY) as a roll call for those who are going to buy in; since DT will not require a "minimum" group to start the buy (like the headers), I suggest keeping track by just placing name on list. This should help us & Nick/DT keep track of demand.
I love the design of the tucked up exhaust tip... but how will this interface with the OEM trailer hitch? I'm guessing that the exhaust would just jump straight down ahead of the hitch?
1. Where does the exhaust tip exit? (side behind the tire or out strait in the stock position)
I'd hope out the side because those of us who wheel rocks will definitely mash up the tip of a $450 exhaust if it comes straight back
2. Is it coming with the rubber or poly exhaust hanger supports?
3. Silly question, but the LC and LX cat back system are the same correct?
Edit. Scratch #1 and #3. Found the answer on the first page
