So...Can I order a catback exhaust kit from DT now?

Semper FI! and a fellow ROTRHD...

Not familiar enough with Luke's bumper or the BIOR Skids, so I can't answer beyond what was stated earlier. The Cats are stock config for the sections between headers & cat-back.

Thanks for the info. I may pick your brain and ask for a few more pics so I can see if the clearance is Ok.

Appreciate the posts and pics. That exhaust looks pretty nice.

I didn't see, but are you still running the stock cats?

Fly safe

Any updates?

Spoke to Nick at DT around 1 this afternoon.

The detail that is holding up the release of the Catback system is the fact that the engineer who designed the system did not release the price yet. Nick is working on bugging the guy to finalize the price(easily sub $500 according to Nick). The price will be out there within a week or so. The whole system is 304 stainless steel and will clear all aftermarket skidplates because it is tucked in further into the truck than the factory exhaust at all point.

Nice to be semi-back on mud!

Sub $500? That's a great price! I need a new muffler for mine but I might as well get a whole new CAT back exhaust for that price. Sounds great!

I was going to weld in a new muffler on mine but i'd rather replace with full stainless as well.
I am not very patient, haha.

I am very interested in the DT Cat back exhaust also. Did Nick say there would be a min qty (group buy)?

Damnit. I just welded a new manga flow to the truck.

bump :)

Subscribed and interested. I'll split the shipping wit ya Loud.

Would it ship in pieces? Or all built? I never messed with aftermarket exhausts. Thx.

which one and how does it sound? I am very close to pulling the trigger on a new muffler

Magnaflow - pn 12286 - 24", 2.5 in/out, 5x8 " oval

When the engine is cold, it's quiet... kinda like when the resonator is cut off and you're driving with just the stock muffler. When the engine warms, it becomes louder. On acceleration, it sounds really nice between 1500-2200 rpms. Cruising at 70+ mph, it has a low drone. I like it. One thing i will say though... Others have mentioned that the 2.5" pipe is a little big for the stock piping which it is. Some have said that the gap needs to be filled in with welding. Here's what you do in this situation... Take a big mallet or a big socket, that will fit, place it inside the inlet/outlet of the muffler and take a hammer and start wacking away turning the muffler as you do it. It will decrease the size of the inlet/outlet just enough to have a very nice fit around the stock piping. It will look as if it was a reduced pipe. You don't need any reducing coupler and you don't need to fill the gap with welding.

While i was playing around under the truck, i even made the pipe a high tuck.

It would have to ship in pieces with flanges. If it was all one solid piece it would be impossible to install without cutting it into pieces and rewelding it back together.
Also, shipping would be outrageous.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks for the info.
