also i noticed the driver’s side window was SUPER SLOW and weak when i went to roll it up and actually had to help it up. did i drain the damn battery or not plug the connector all the way in or is there something i need to look at before buttoning it all up please?

Did taking all of that apart and cleaning it help the window roll up faster? Mine is pretty slow. Wondering if cleaning it is worth it or if simply buying a new one for +/-$30 would fix the slow window.

i did the silicone lube routine (liberally) in the rubber window runners first.
then but the bullet and did 4 new rubber window runners and R&R’d the window controller.
it was faster due to the new more pliable window runners (mine windows were actually were getting stuck part way in cold weather).
then the DS window started cutting out and per rifleman’s or someone’s suggestion cleaned the /sideways/ contacts which i missed the first time. you don’t have to pull the whole door card of course to just R&R the controller.
in short. i would clean the controller properly with a contact file and/or ultrasonic. and put in new window runners. in either order really.
i feel it is the hard window runners personally. and the old units i really freaking robust. so i wouldn’t spend any money on a chinese controller...
feel free to post back.
the window controller is a bit fiddly but basically do not remove the window lock, take pics and you should be fine.

Appreciate the info! I plan to get into it in the next couple of weeks to see if I can get it to improve.
