Last month I noticed a wet dog smell in my vehicle. Under my Weather Tech floor mat on the driver's side it was damp and wet. I removed the mat and let it dry out. I kept checking and it was still dry. Tropical Storm Alberto brushed us today. When I get home I put my hand under the mat and it was damp again. I did some checking on here and found it could be a leaking windshield. I found a helpful remark that suggested pressurizing the vehicle and using soap. I sprayed the windshield and this is what I found.

I have had this windshield replaced twice. My side piece is missing, I tried to show it in the last photo. I can see the rivets, the other side that is also leaking has an insert. Where do I go from here, obviously both sides have air coming out. I am only getting water on the driver's side. Should I start with the side piece and keep checking or does the windshield need to come out? Any insight would be appreciated

You could try just the trim and rivets but would you even trust the windshield itself was done correctly at this juncture?

Thats a funky placement for the sat radio antenna. How did they fish that into the cabin?

I had the last windshield installed 5 years ago and it just now became a problem. I have been through many snow and rain storms in those 5 years.

I would also check your sunroof drains. It would be an easy check before tearing into the windshield. I had similar wetness also with replacement windshield by previous owner. Found the drain hole pluged with debris/pollen. Cleaned it out, dry as a bone. My sunroof doesn’t work so I had to remove 4 nuts to remove the glass to access the front drain holes.

I can open my sunroof so that sounds like it should be easy to check.

Can you explain the process you used to get these beautiful bubbles? Got same issue for a long time and never got good results pinpointing a leak.

How did you pressurize the cabin and what soap did you use? Thanks.

I saw an old post from @Trunk Monkey I just put the AC system on vent not recirculate and turned the blower on high. I used dish soap/water in a spray bottle and hit the seams including the roof.
