I just replaced my driveshafts on my 97 model with Tom Woods shafts that have double cardon joints. My question is more geared toward the rear but will give a quick rundown. The factory front shaft has the slip yoke at the axle end and the factory rear shaft has the slip yoke at the TC side. I put the Tom Woods shafts in the same way which on the front puts the DC joint on the TC side and it puts the rear DC joint on the axle side. Is this correct? Seems like the rear should have the DC joint on the TC side which would be opposite of how it came from the factory.

Did you rotate your axels so the pinoins point at the transfercase?

I’ll flip the rear driveline so that the DC joint is on the TC side.

I didn’t rotate the rear axle. I did install the offset bushings on the front axle to rotate it. I installed a 2.5” OME kit.
