Drive train advice please

Hello all, my first post and new to the group. I bought my first 60. It currently has a 6.2 Detroit/700r4/241c for the drive train. The motor is going to get pulled. I haven’t made up my mind on what drive train I will go back with. The front and rear pumpkins are both off center to the right. I don’t have it near me to look at it but I am not sure how it is installed in order for the t case to exit center when the rear end is not centered. Here are the only pics I have to look at. I am leaning towards an LT swap with a 6l80. I’m trying to decide if I keep the 241 or go with something else. What Toyota t case should I be looking at? Thx for any help.

Sorry for the delay. It’s an old Detroit 6.2 diesel that needs a lot of work no don’t want to invest anything into it.

Since you are new, go to the top click on ‘Search’ type in LS swaps and learn how it works.
There are very many threads here, and an enormous amount of knowledge and members who can
guide you along. Get it home, remove all the junk driveline and then see what you have.
Remove anything that is obviously not stock, then and only then will you know what you need.
Lots of Texas help, I met alot of real smart guys in San Antonio a few years back. Good luck.

Thanks! I did and have learned a lot since doing so. I have yet to make up my mind on a new drive line. Really want to keep it diesel so now looking at a MB OM606. Madmax has a great build post for it.
