If you are going from 3 speed to 4 speed, you will have length problems.

Ed,
If I can pick you brain for a sec...
I'm doing a H41 install into my 1970 FJ40 with the 3 Speed Tcase. I'm still collecting parts, but I have the H41 and the AA Tcase input gear kit is on the way. I was curious what to do about driveshafts. I know I'll need a longer front and shorter rear. I was hoping to find a pair of stock 4 speed driveshafts and put my old flanges on them. Does this sound like a good plan, am I missing something?
Thanks,
Kurt
P.S. If anyone has 4 speed driveshaft and/or a top load shifter PM me.
since you are keeping the 3 speed t-case, why not just get your driveshafts modified? San diego driveshaft on morena blvd can do it. they have done a few of mine, and they are not cheap but they do a great job.

...One other thing-Ask for the heavier wall tube-it's like $10 more per shaft.
...common sense tells me to replace the seals which means removing the output flanges.
See?
Ed
Ed,
Good point. But if I'm going to go in that deep, where do I stop?
Thanks
