Ok mudders, hoping you can help solve this puzzle. So... low beams weren't working... and weren't burnt out, even disassembled and cleaned switch on the column and still nothing. Removed the ARB M002 and M004 harness and plugged stock connectors back in.. All headlights work! Yay....#$%%^...turn the key and just a click...won't start. Has a BRAND NEW battery and all connections are solid. Blower, lights etc. run at full and don't bog down when turning key to start. Just a click. Battery is measuring 12.46. Rig was starting fine previously so I don't think it's the starter. Any ideas as to what could be affecting the start circuit from removing the ARB harness? I'm stumped.

what vehicle? It's lame that both the FJ62 and 60 are clumped together in this forum when the vehicles have nothing in common except for the body and suspension

My suggestion would be to undo what you just did (unplugging the harness) to get it back to where it was when the engine started- and see if the engine will start again. I doubt it will. The headlight harness isn't tied in any way to the starter. Check/clean the big battery connectors on the battery lugs. They can look tight but not be able to pass high current. Tap the starter with a dowel & hammer to jar it a tad. Maybe it fell asleep
