Hey all. Not affiliated. I checked out Allegis Corp from some recommendations on Mud for a drawer latch, here:

While searching around their site, I found some Accuride 9301 slides they have. I sent a quote request and they are $118 a set! Don't know what the shipping costs... Cheapest I've found elsewhere is $140+. These can be mixed with the 9308 model (locking) so you can have 2 drawers with a locking slide on each. They are the same, one locks and one doesn't.

Btw- the latch is 35 bucks, each. Happy building!

I bought these 2-3 years ago and was very impressed. Not only do they have a key, they also have tabs on each side that pull out and you can install a pad lock.

The latch is fully adjustable, roller design and strongest I have seen.

If someone would design a drawer like the OS system I use with these and mount facing up as pictured, this would make for a very secure drawer.

Best selections of slides you'll find. I'd recommend getting one with a disconnect feature so that you can install/remove drawer without taking things apart. A lockout feature may be nice when pointing downhill.

I already have a set of 9308 slides, so I will be ordering the 9301 set. I've seen drawerslides.com , and their prices are good, but allegis prices are better. Just an fyi.

And in my opinion, 200lb slides aren't nearly heavy enough. Those ratings are usually for an 18" length, so in a 36" the max load would be a lot less.
