Jim

I found one of your 350 adapters the other day. It will be here waiting for you next time you come up. ;)

NOT FOR SALE TO ANYONE ELSE.

I'll take that last one. Is it still $29?
No, here's what I am going to do:
1. Try to find the original mold for the Holley 350 adapters since they are now the new Holley Sniper 2300 & FiTech 39001 adapter for Landcruisers.
2. Make a new drill bushing fixture to machine them (since I no longer own Downey's CNC machines).
3. Combine the new adapters, with new cable linkage kits, with new Downey cast aluminum EFI air cleaners, with new K&N filter element for the EFI conversions.
4. Sell above package for $209.00 as a package deal.

Went searching for something completely unrelated in my garage and found these:

Guys, check out ebay #263476326498, that's what I'm talking about.

Mark, if those adapters are for sale, I'll take them, lemme know.

They are yours whenever you want them Jim.

Now here’s a funny thing. I had never heard of Fitech until this thread got started. Then a box shows up the other day

I start grinning right away, thinking to myself : yup , it’s about the right size:

And no, it wasn’t sent to me as a purchase; they want it rebuilt.

Jim - I have one of these in my stash - and to ask in an inarticulate manner, 'what does it adapt to what'? Also, is the separate vacuum line plate device also a Downey part, or is that a Toyota bit?

Thanks - Steve

Steve, your adapter was originally made to adapt Holley 350 carburetors to the Landcruiser engine, but now guys are using them to adapt the Fitech or Holley Sniper fuel injection to the Landcruiser engine. The other plate you have (with tube) is the stock Landcruiser insulator plate that goes below the adapter. If you are not going to use this adapter put me first in line to buy it.

Thank you for the info! I have AFI TBI right now (and am happy with it), but I will surely hang onto these for now and will be sure you are first in line if I decide to sell it. I'm not sure what my longer-term induction plans are for my engine...the 2F really rocks with EFI, so that's a huge improvement in and of itself.
