Doug Thorley Header air injection for 05? (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

i just recieved my headers for what doug thorley says is 05-07 headers. The invoice says its for VVTI with air injection. My 05 doesnt have VVTI and Does an 05 lx470 have air injection? Im trying to figure out if i need to exchange this and let Doug Thorley know their years are wrong it should be 06-07 for this type of header.

We're going around and around on this issue in other threads. May 05 - 07 production dates had the VVT, so a few 2005 have VVT. If you've a black plastic intake manifold you've the VVt. Otherwise return it for a pre May 2005 model. The VVTi exhaust manifold is different to accommodate the AI system.

Ugh thanks for verifying for me that the non vvti motor doesnt have air injection either. I wish Doug Thorley knew to ask now i cant get my headers on until next week.

@Biga27110 If the DT headewrs you have are wrong and fit a VVTI I would be interested in them for my 06. Do LMK
