Air bubbles can be removed by pulling a vacuum on the resin before it is poured. Works well and is pretty cool to watch too.

The mold setup was 1/2 the cost for the cat eyes vs the tailgate emblems. I take this to be due to plastic vs. metal. Add chrome and enamel, and there's where the price differs

I take one Mike I do have one of the original heater in one of the 25. Do you have a picture of the switches. Mine had a switch, so maybe it was stock if it had the heater.
I'll get the camera tomorrow at work and bring it home for a pic.
