Air bubbles can be removed by pulling a vacuum on the resin before it is poured. Works well and is pretty cool to watch too.

The mold setup was 1/2 the cost for the cat eyes vs the tailgate emblems. I take this to be due to plastic vs. metal. Add chrome and enamel, and there's where the price differs 
BTW, I bought the Eastwood kit to try making the FJ25 heater switch knob. Who else needs these? LMAO

I take one Mike I do have one of the original heater in one of the 25. Do you have a picture of the switches. Mine had a switch, so maybe it was stock if it had the heater.
I'll get the camera tomorrow at work and bring it home for a pic.
I put a friend onto the '62, plus parts, that just sold from an ih8mud post. He ended up buying it. That '62 had the dual sided directional turn signals. My VERY stock '63 does not! (I am the third owner and the second was a family friend of the original owner. 2nd owner provided a detailed essay on what he knew about the original owner. Priceless. Original key fob, tools, service booklet, 2nd key, passenger seats, etc.) A rare find and only one hour away from me. Had to buy it. No choice. Rear wheel well rust damage was included...

Bummer! There is a local guy that has intact lenses on his early 40. I'll ask him if he ever sourced a set for his truck.
Lenses are really hard to reproduce it seems. DIY casting is iffy and 3D printing has UV stability issues.

through the years the only comparable that i had found are from the Mitsubishi jeeps .... j20 and such from the late 60ś?
I cant recall exactly but i think they were a tad smaller in diameter as well
these would mount center fender for us.... unless you remove the bottom and use our oem base somehow... technically we did have center fender lights for a time as seen here on the fj35... but the tall base
They still make the Mitsubishi fender round directional and they come up for sale on usa site every so often.... but.... more common in japan obviously
never got around to getting one to see how they are
