trying to track reasons...and finding none...

there ARE some issues with the Android/iThing app...the latest update was just pushed out in the past few days, perhaps it will solve some of the problems...

otherwise, it's something to do with the latest updates from FF/Chrome/etc...Chrome updated again yesterday on my MacAir...

Observation made by several people: it happens when you use the quick reply box and someone has posted since you last refreshed the page.

I've invested a bunch to solve something that I no longer believe can be corrected. At certain times of the day, TUT discussions happen at a near live-conversation pace, and forum software is not designed for that type of use on one thread.

Okay, thanks for trying.

It's happening in multiple busy threads, not just TUT, but I think most users that it happens to get a 30 second warning and they just assume that they hit send twice somehow.
