Double Posting

It also might be only MacOS and possibly Firefox, which was updated recently.

I think we are noticing it because DD and I are mods and we get double posts whereas most users get one post and the 30 second warning and then assume it was their own fault. semlin noticed because he's observant and we were discussing it.
 
Sorry I'm a little late to the ball game here....

Some great observations by the way, it is only happening in quick reply, which means it's an ajax related issue and it's only appears to be happening on larger threads.

I have made an initial configuration change just to see if that fixes the issue, however, I suspect it wont be that simple. So, any time you see it happen, reference it here so I can debug it in the logs.
 
semlin is a non mod, and there are two examples from him noted above:
