door wiring

I need to run speaker wire to the speakers in the doors and I was wondering if there were any suggestions on getting the wire out to the door. Should I try to run the wires through that little loom that the other wires go through? Or should I just run the wire alongside that loom and simly through the grommets at both ends?

I would run them next to the loom and then put them through the gromet, that is all I have ever done and it works just fine.

If its at all possible, run it through the rubber boot. That's the better way to do it. If not, then do it the other way. What speakers are you putting in? And what size wire are you running?
