I just replaced my rear hatch one last week and used this exact video. Super easy. Found a rebuilt factory one on eBay for $100. When I sent them back my old they gave me a lifetime warranty on the one I bought.
The early tundra one didn’t work… very close but the little arm that connects to the wire is slightly different..
Does this seller have the passenger door lock actuators as well ? If so can you link to the eBay seller please ?

I cannot for the life of me get the clip on B off. I’ve read this thread thoroughly. For A I plan on getting some Teflon spray and hammering that rod out. But for item B, any other ideas to help me lodge this one out? This is the passenger door on a 99 lx470.

It comes out with the rod. Turn it 90° and it falls out of the hole. Remove it any other way, and you'll break the strap.
I didn't read through this whole thread, so this might have been discussed already. I just replaced my driver door actuator. I watched a video on it and bought the motors the guy recommended, not realizing there is a difference between the earlier years (little brass bushing, plus the brass spiral part), and the newer ones that have a plain shaft w/ a D shape and a nylon spiral part. If anyone ends up in a bind, the brass part can be pulled off, and a little bit of work with a file and it'll fit everything just fine!
Is that 90 degrees twisted to the right or to the left?

Just finished the rear hatch and front driver's door. Couple of tips -
1. the closer door lock lever has a tab that flips upwards, the one further away flips towards the front of the vehicle
2. the larger of these door lock levers is difficult to remove. I used penetrating spray, heated it, no luck. Finally used an adjustable wrench aroung the lever and hammered it and it popped out.
3. As others have stated, loosen the window guide. When replacing, the actuator is between the guide and the door. Once you get it between, you can wiggle it into place.
I'll upload some photos but they currently aren't jpeg

Also, now that it's done, the doors lock then immediately unlock. Any suggestions?

Parkit - the white one goes up, the yellow one towards you (or the front of the vehicle).
Also note that the motor has two little indents on the back when inserting into the case.

I did all 5 recently and did not remove A and B, but instead removed the 3 screws holding the actuator to the bracket/case. There are 2 screws facing you and 1 screw on the back.
You’ll have to manipulate the actuator to get it in the right position to remove the 2 screws in the front and a very short screwdriver or 1/4 ratchet with a phillips socket will work for the screw in the back.
Thanks all for the help. I finally got this done. Here’s what I ended up doing with instruction:
(1) Rotating the yellow clip (A): I just put my hands in there from the main access point (the hole where the picture is bring taken from) and rotated the clip 90 degrees off the rod. Took a bit of a push but nothing crazy.
(2) Removing the rod out of the yellow clip: Get a nail punch (see photo) and a hammer. Put the nail punch right on the center of the rod (avoid hitting the yellow clip if you can) and hammer it out at (C). I was careful to use too much force but it needs it. Popped right out. I used a hair dryer to heat it up the first time but didn’t use it for the next 3 doors. To clarify: once the rod is out, the yellow clip should be in the same position as it is in the photo.
(3) Removing the white clip. Get a pick ($2 at harbor freight for a set) with a return on it (see photo). Put it back there and just pull at (B) towards the door handle. This didn’t take much pressure and then the rod comes right out.

So i got the actuator's replaced, then had to replace the sensor on the lock cylinder. Now when i try to lock the car it locks/unlocks, just triggers the lock and then they unlock. Any suggestions?
(1) do you have your master key in the car with you
(2) are you trying to lock/unlock with the drive door open?

So - update. Works fine with the car closed, won't work with the door open. I have a master key but need to program it. I think to do that i have to have the door open.

Anyone know where to find these? And the screw covers on the front door panel.
Various places online. I ordered from partsouq but they are now out of stock. Part number for screw cover is 9095001800B0. Other part number is 9046707066P2
