Tried searching but couldn't find anything on this... My frame, cowl and hood hinges are all in parallel but my passenger side fender is about 3/8" - 1/2" lower than the driver's side at the front. Basically, the fender and the doghouse slopes down more on the P side than the D side. No signs of damage or repairs on either side.

The battery is on this side so wondering if that may be part of the issue after 40 years of hammering or is it just hit or miss on the alignment. Curious if anyone else has ever seen this?

When I reassembled mine I had a similar issue. IRC I ended up working with the front cross support and the bushings that tie it to the frame. I think I had one run down tighter than the other. I had to loosen all the inner fender bolts on the doghouse and play with it until it lined up better.

Seems like you hear about misalignment issues when the doghouse comes off...
