AR-23s on my Cruiser. I have 1.25" wheel spacers with them, never tried them without the spacers though.

Tires are flush with flares with the spacers.

Me personally? I'm a huge old school race car fan and ever since my first car I've been in love with negative offset deep dish wheels with a lip. Every car since then has deep dish wheels with a lip...let's say it's just my personal style.

My old 240Z is a good example...

Just remember the wheels you are looking at on JDM truck where put on in most cases as soon as they rolled off the lot in 91-95 so you are dealing with 20 year old wheel trends and styles. Things have changed a lot in the last 20 year asfar as style so you cant exspect to find the same wheels now that you did 20 years ago.

I like my stock wheels enough to wait for the Centerline 3 piece beadlocks which are not 5 spoke. But I like the looks of 5 spokes. Here are my stock, dirty chrome 5 spokes wrapped in 35s...

Those AR-23's look nice on your 80! I had those wheels on my Wrangler back in the mid-90's. They are a timeless, good looking wheel that compliment your 80.

i am also a fan of the AR23 wheels. they are as close as you can get to a jdm look without paying the hefty jdm price! i wish i could run the 15x10 version but my brake calipers won't allow for it
