Does ATRAC only work in low range? It works with the center diff locked, unlike regular traction control that turns off when the center diff is locked, right?

Thanks

Mine works in H and L. It definitely works in L C locked.

My 03 v6 T4R 4x4 works in 4hi and 4lo locked and unlocked...when doing donuts in the snow with the diff locked you could hear it pulsing some as well.

It really only works above 1500rpm. That is the true measure. When you lock the center, the VSC is turned off but the ATRAC works in all modes.

Back from the dead, mine works in 4lo for sure but 4high doesn’t work. I keep trying to get it to kick in but nothing. I can even get it in a ditch and it will just spin one wheel forever without the Atrac making a noise, no clicking etc. switch to 4low and immediately works and pulls me out click click click etc

Is there a fuse for 4 high or something haha

What year is that again? Mine is an 03 and works.

2000 - cdl doesn’t work either, maybe non related, no Atrac dash light, cdl or vcs light either.

Going to check dash bulbs, then cdl actuator and go from there
That may be it. Completely different 4WD and TRAC ECUs in the 2000 vs the full time 4WD 2003 system like in the 4R and GX
