I've been looking at the Suunto gps watches for years...having waited for one that will give me a location friendly to a military map. Does anyone have any good/bad experiences with the newer Suunto X10 model?

Suunto X10 GPS Watch ? The amazing wristop successor to the X9i is here!

This seems like a good piece of gear if it works as intended.
For those that may have this, how is the durability? The acrylic faces tended to scratch easily, does anyone have any experience with this? I expect that this will get a lot of use and intend to wear it daily.
I'd expect the barometer and thermometer to be useless on a wristwatch and intend to really only use the compass, altimeter, and gps.
Does anyone have any experience with the software?
I'll be using this for hiking, biking, driving, and eventual military use as something readily accessible that I don't have to constantly dig into a pack for.
Thanks for any useful replies
