When did Toyota switch the tailgate cables to rubber straps? My 17 had cables my 2020 has straps.
I've had good luck with Duratracs too, but I question the logic of going smaller than stock.I guess mainly because I have had such good luck with the Duratracs. High mileage, good tread in slick conditions, studs, and off-road. I like the KO's but the Duratracs have been good to me over the years on my 4 Runner and my Tundra.
My 19 has a round rubber covered cable. When did Toyota switch the tailgate cables to rubber straps? My 17 had cables my 2020 has straps.

Could that just be a square cover over the same cable? I recall a few people having the round one twist and stick out of the slot between the bumper and tailgate. Maybe the square cover helps prevent this?
As it is my tailgate flexes a small amount and I assumed it was the very thin cables stretching due to the shallow angle they are at under tension.
Please post the part number, I am sure I will get screwed by my dealer, if he even has the information at all. I want one for my 2013 with third row removed. This is pretty nice, especially for $62

Anyone ever find out the part number for the HE cargo mat?
Do you mind listing a few of the headlight darkening methods you’re talking about here.Headlamps are available for $1800 each (+ tax + shipping) No proof of ownership required. The HE grill is technically available, but I have ordered two already, both came with non-HE grills on the box. We have made Toyota aware there is a boxing issue and they are looking into it. price on the grille sub-assy + both headlamp covers is $1150 + tax + shipping.
There are a few ways to blackout the headlamps for a fraction of the price. The HE grille has been available in other non-US markets for a while and there is a Chinese knock off on eBay available that requires a hole drilled in it for front camera.

Correct @jeproks ... Lightwerkz is the company, good people, but be careful because there is no warranty after they open them up. I would strongly advise against it if you live in the south, extreme heat can cause gas seepage and the light can have appearance of mildew in the inner assembly.Do you mind listing a few of the headlight darkening methods you’re talking about here.

The glossy black wheel shown in the first pic on post #55 is 42611-0C200 and was used on the 2017 TRD PRO Tundra and now is used for the 2019+ Tundra on a different package with a P255/70/18 tire.
The bbs pro wheels are forged Alloy, so it's lighter. It's also wider as well.
The heritage/trd pro wheels 2019 and above I believe are 27-28 pounds. The trd off road or old tundra pro wheels are 31 pounds. Thanks, I thought they were all 8" wheels. And I have yet to find any weights for them.
