Does anyone know what these unused plugs are in my engine bay?

See pics below. This is by the passenger side firewall right by the OBDII diagnostic port

It's part of a harness that goes through the firewall. There seems to be one female plug with 2 males that could plug into it. At the moment all 3 are unplugged. It's a 4 pin connector.

Anyone know what this is?

Umm, sorry, I have to disagree. F12/F13 are located at the axle, and neither of those are a 4-pin connector.

What the OP is holding in the picture looks like the A27 connector for the auto antenna relay.

Agreed. Diff lock harness connector under the wiper motor is Gray 6-pin and has rounded edges. Connector "Bb1" on a 96 LX. Not sure of other years.

The auto antenna relay is designated A9 on a 97.

Point is.. the codes change depending on year. But it is clear to me that @landcrshr is correct.. that's for the auto antenna relay for vehicles so-equipped.

Also for the record.. that's not your OBDII port. That is the Toyota "DLC" for diagnosing transmission/engine/ABS/cruise/etc codes. Your truck is new enough to have an actual OBDII port by the driver's left knee under a pull-away panel by the cabin fuses.

Could be, my EWD was '95 vintage; the "A" series connections stop at "A26", ABS speed sensor. Could you post the page from the '97 EWD for comparison?

Powered antenna plug. 100% final answer. There should be two, actually. But that yellow one is definitely one of them.

Is that for an LC? I guess LX is different..

Attached is for a 97 LX450 (according to the directory tree)

Not that the "A" number really matters. We've definitely figured out what the plug is for. As much digging as I've done into these wiring harnesses, I'm still learning about the differences between years/models almost daily. Example would be the famous IH1/IH2 connectors actually being designated IL1/IL2 on LX450s.. and IH1 is in a totally different spot.

I only ask whether yours is for an LC to determine if they are publishing different diagrams for the same model/year.

Is that for an LC?
Yep, '97 LC.

I see yours has only one option for radio/player (R1), so must be an LX.

AND a 20A "RADIO" fuse! LC doesn't have one of those.

Yeah.. plus a different route for that circuit. A wire goes around the engine bay, through a larger EA4 connector under the air box (plus a wire for the outside temp sensor in the grill), then to the system amp by the passengers knee

Either way.. there are differences
