Seen around Riggs / Mcqueen in S. Chandler frequently, never been able to see the owner though. Definately the biggest cruiser I have ever seen in person. Doesn't look like it see too much dirt though.....

Strange lookin...

What are those 20" rims and 37s?

At least they have great taste in music as well.;)

I'm gonna say that whoever owns it is an RCPM fan.

I would recognize that petroglyph logo on the rear side window anyplace.:grinpimp:

NO FRONT DRIVESHAFT THOUGH!!!

This always makes me chuckle... reminds me when I was in High School in Wickenburg and one of the "cool kids" had a uber-lifted Toyota mini, 44s, no front driveshaft... tried to climb a small hill to a desert party, I watched (in my Nissan Patrol) as he tried and tried. Finally he gave up and I walked up the thing (in low-range 2 wheel drive) and he and his g-friend had to walk up. :D

Makes me smile even today. WOW that was a while ago...

cantinero thats not a RCPM logo, its just a sticker from the cheesy flex fan under the hood:flipoff2:

msahr, why man, why did you have to bring up all the memories of my 66 patrol:frown:

Hey my 66 Patrol was the shizzle! You could start it by hand, it was positive ground  , had no doorsills  , I had a license plate frame made that said "Yes it's cool, no it's not a Land Cruiser" (hey I didn't know any better then). Manual steering, synchro 3-speed, 2-lever transfer case (2 wheel drive low range baby!). FACTORY half-doors and FACTORY split rear doors so you don't lose the rear ambi doors when you remove the top! The steering wheel was about 4 feet across and FLAT. 16" split rims, 7.00x16 8 ply tires, battery under the driver's seat, etc. Oh and the electrics were all sealed. I even had the factory green canvas soft top...

sounds about right,,, i swapped mine over to negative ground,,,, i like how the ignition coils screwed on and it had that vacuum line to keep condensation out of the dizzy. i kinda like no door sills, and a really like how the door frame tops came off with a couple screws. remember the high clearance axles with the terra 60 style cut?? real innovators, it was a very good rig. i had to ruin mine though with a 302/C6/205. 9" rear 44 front and a springover with 36" tires. its still around, the guy who bought it from me was fixing it up pretty nice.

Got pics? Does it run? Can't believe I said that...

It runs, needs some work to get it road worthy. Brake master reservoir is gone. But it will start right up and run fine. It's all there, original type stuff minus the ugly paint job.
I need $2k

See what happens when you turn 43, and a picture gets posted and then I look at it on a tiny PC screen.... God, I need to get my eyes checked!

Are you sure it is a flex fan sticker or are you just f'n with me again??!:flipoff2: 'Cause it sure looks like the blue glyph logo stickers they're selling these days.

I used to see that 60 in Tempe all the time but I don't drive to work that way anymore so I don't know if he still works over there. Used to have a front shaft in it so I'm not sure what's going on there but it's till a pretty cool looking rig.
