Very interested in some Scheel Mann seats!

Hello, I would like to order a pair of the brackets and sliders. PM'd.

I'm very interested in a pair of bases and seats. Trying to decide on the right seat. Do you know if there are any dealers on the east coast or places where I could at least sit in one or two?

Thanks for putting these products out there they are BADLY needed : )

J

Are you still offering these? I don't see them on your website?

I ended up going through Toby, but they are interconnected and both great people.

I picked up a Vario XXL with an armrest and seat heater for driver side and a Traveler for the passenger - :princess: is about 5'5".

These are great, great seats and make short work of long drives. Not to mention they go all the way back to the 2nd row seats. Mine also tilt forward.

I highly recommend, one of my best mods to date and worth it

Very nice!
In the pic the two seat look to be obvious size difference, yes?

You are correct. The driver seat is the Vario XXL (significantly taller, exactly how much can't say right now). Passenger is regular Traveler - shorter, fewer adjustments. I've sat in the passenger and it's also great, I just opted for taller for driver since I'm 6'2"

Look great and very comfortable. How are they for sliding in and out? Although they look like once you are in you dont want to get out. Could be new replacement for a RTT.:hmm:

@LandCruiserPhil they're not bad. They are not as deep / tall bolsters as their other seats, which would cradle you more, but would also be more of a hump to get over (and continuously wear down). I don't notice hitting the bolsters while sliding in, but I'm semi-consciously trying to avoid dragging over them like I used so I don't cause the lifted Landcruiser seat tear. They are comfortable and firm, and still cradle. And @SeattleFJs correct me if I'm wrong but I think a lot of the panels can be removed / replaced fairly easily, which would be a bonus.

Hamishpotter, I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a driver's side Vario XXL F as the factory seat is slowly killing my 6'6" frame. Are you still happy with it? Are you using the Planted bracket with sliders? Any loss/gain of head room? How far back does it go? Also, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, would you mind posting some pictures from different angles? Just trying to get a better idea of the overall fit of the larger seat in the truck. Sorry for the 20 questions, but for this amount of cash, I want to get as much info as possible. Thank you!!
