Notes: We went to lunch /auto parts store and talked to other land cruiser owners we ran into about joining the club.

Awesome time and hate I couldn't stay longer guys. Really excited to see interest and know there's a great future for LCLC. For making the birthday party I booked a full day pass for the next HAMOM event.

You know that's tomorrow, right Greg??
Thanks guys, I enjoyed hanging out and wrenching today.
I'll see about getting some cards this week.
Can't believe we saw 2 cruiser heads at the 2 places we stopped.
Hope to see them on here soon.

Hate that I had to miss this; woke up and did not feel well. Love the pics, hope to make it around next month.

Didn't really get any rain...sprinkled twice for a few minutes and the sun came out this afternoon.
I did get the axle housing pressure washed this afternoon.

It was nice running into yall at the part store! Joined as promised and hope to see Ya soon...
Fixed my steering stabilizer and hope to fix my DS window tomorrow...

Rick! Great to meet you today! Good to hear you fixed your steering stabilizer. If you want to come by tomorrow we will be finishing the rebuild on David's axle and can help with your window if needed.

Cheers,
Matt aka TailsWCU

Rick! Great to see you on here! I didn't catch your name when we were at AutoZone, but I'm very glad you followed through. I told my wife about how you traded a Jag for a 62 and have zero regrets :) Look forward to hanging out and talking shop soon! Feel free to post up your 62 on the Member's Rigs thread and tell us all about that beast!

Hey guys couldn't make it today...had too much going on. Can't wait to hear about it though!

Sorry I was a no show also, I had to HAMOM on myself today :

2nd carb rebuild - well, last one was a cleaning. This time I had parts. Thx TPI Land Cruisers.

Found the (lower) adapter plate to be a very slight bit loose

..... A contributing factor? Maybe. It's tight now. Finishing the carb and gonna see how I did.

We made some progress with David's 62. The weather couldn't have been better.

Perhaps Mr Moderator could create a poll so see how many wheelin' trips before David's front leaf spring bracket would have snapped--my guess would be <1.

Awesome guys! Lookin good David!

David, they get bolted and welded, correct? Any idea if the front bumper is going to fit? Did you install the LSD? How much wrenching is remaining for the stuff you needed to accomplish?

The front spring hangers do get welded, also.
The bumper would bolt up if I drill some more holes, but I 'm not sure I'll use it.
I have a winch to install, also, so I need to figure a style I like andfab something.
We didn't get the LSD in yet, but the axle housing is sitting on the springs.
It's much lighter that way!!
Thanks for your help today, Tim.

I've been doing some cleaning and painting this afternoon.
Still have the knuckles to clean.
I'm going to fix the PS leak before I install any more.
