Do I Need a Vapor Separator? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, putting back together a 74’ FJ40 and realized the previous owner had capped some fuel lines off the tank. After a small amount of research it seems it was for the vapor separator (which I don’t have). If this is an emissions item, I don’t really care to have it.

Let me know what to do. Thank you all in advance.
