Dizzy Question

In regards to my distributor (OE Vac on the 60)

I keep losing a little bit of advance over the course of a few weeks. I notice it between gears. I shift- it hesitates. So I advance the dizzy a c*nt hair and all is well, but after a few weeks she'll start to buck again.

Is the dist. losing advance because of a leak?
(If it were, wouldn't it hesitate/lurch all the time)
Do they go bad? over time or mileage? She has 60k on it now but its 19y old.

Can they be rebuilt or just replaced? Do I go electronic or stay OE vac?

Probably losing advance due to a worn clamp. I'd try putting a new clamp on there and making sure it's on good and tight.

I had the same problem and that turned out to be it.

My dizzy has a bolt holding the side of it to the block. Is there another clamp I'm missing all together?
