I've got some Nitro UCA's en route, and am wondering if anyone can offer wisdom on setting up the alignment after installing UCA's. I've got a lifetime alignment arrangement with my local Firestone, but I'll need to get it close enough to make the drive to the shop. I've never touched any alignment components, so I'm not sure how to proceed. How bad can it be?

You will probably be able to drive it to the shop without any adjustment at home. It will probably just pull one way or the other... How far is the shop?

UCA will have very little change in your alignment, i would drive it to the nearest shop.

I'd be really surprised if they don't balk at giving you a free alignment after a mod like that, unless you have a "special" deal with them.

You will be fine, the LC does have cam bolts on the upper control arms so it wouldn't be a bad idea to put a mark on those before you remove them so you can install back into the same position.

fwiw you can scrub tires off surprisingly quickly if your toe is off much. Use a laser level against the back tires sighted along the fronts, and measure with a tape measure from the laser dot to the back edge of the front rim and back of rim. Just get the measurement the same on both sides and you'll be ok..
