I think only the small cap, F era distributors used the octane selector. OP specified the 2F, which would be the medium cap.

I may have one that will fit, but I need to know the distance between the face of the distributor housing (where the advancer enters the housing) and the mounting screw that holds the advancer in place - is it 10mm? Or ???
