Cool, thanks for that

Unless your campfire surface is flat, three legs will 'rock' less, or at least require less fiddling to prevent rocking.
Butt
I agree on the three points being more stable on uneven ground and you could screw the legs in/out to help level it (within reason).

The no-hables at work bring one in for special occations (i.e. birthdays) and usually will cook Tilapia with onion and chilis sevrved with corn torts. I have been impressed.

So, just hit up the local farmers and ask if they have any used discs laying around?

I also did up some pasilla peppers, some yellow peppers of some sort and some jalapenos on the grill. Unfortunately the family does not like hot stuff

Add some ranchero cheese, lime, onion, cilantro and guacatillo salsa as topings and ENJOY!!!

I could have done twice or three times the amount of meat in this. I have left overs and have eaten more than my fill.

Sounds good!

LOL, my thought was to make one to cook stuff like shrimp/fish on and not stink up the entire house.

I put an ad on my local CL and have feelers out thru various local contacts as well. We'll see. :hillbilly:

Dammit, I need to go find one of those now.

Wow, got an email from a guy that ordered the wrong size discs for his implement. He's got a pile of new 19 inch dia (2 inch deep) discs. I'm getting 4 for $7 each. I'd say that's pretty good!!!

NICE!

I'm sold on the concept.

Hey Chad, if you want to sell a disk let me know.

I'm going to pick them up on the 9th. Want me to grab an extra for you? Planning to mudship or ????? Shoot me a PM if you're serious.

, pm on the way...

Mace, did you end up with the BPS burner? And how necessary is the need for the lids?

Yes I did. It works great, although, it could be a tad bit taller. Couple mild changes and it'll be perfect.

To steam veggies the lid seems really nice. I picked up another disc (smaller) and will be making a lid out of it. Bu so far, it has not been necesary.

If any of you will be at Cruise Moab on sat morning I'll be hitting up the Chorizo breakfast burritos with the discada at Slickrock.

That kicks ass, I have a NG pipe in the middle of my patio that was for a built in grill, I used a different outlet for my grill and might just convert this pipe to burner for one of these.................thinking......

I've got a disk I was going to turn into a grinder stand. I guess I'll make a discada out of it. Thanks for sharing Jason.
