Diode Dynamics 9006/ H11 plug and play in an 80 series ?? (1 Viewer)

I purchased both sets of the SL1 bulbs from Diode (9006 and H11) thinking the 9006 would be compatible for my low beams and the H11 for my high beams (for off road use only.) Both of these claim to be plug and play but I have not been able to get past the “plug” part.

The 9006 bulbs seem really close to fitting in my low beam lock ring on the back of the headlight assembly, but they won’t screw in to the locking channel. The more I push on the bulb assembly, the more I think it’s going to crack open and fall apart.

The H11 bulbs have a lock ring that is to small to match my high beam headlight assembly

Anyone have any experience running these on an 1997 LX450?

I can tell you the high beam bulb is a 9005. I know they are similar to H11, but I’m pretty sure at a minimum the connection is different.
