dimmer switch help 2 kinds!

Both these switch are out of 22rte trucks!
ones a 87 4runner
another 87 turbo truck!

whats the deal the 4 runner has 4 pins and the truck 2 pin!
i need a good 4 pin switch!

Is the 4 pin for the digital dash? The other looks like a normal dimmer switch to me....
