differences in throttle pedal between 62 model years? (1 Viewer)

does anyone know details regarding differences in throttle pedal between model years of the fj62?

first pic is pedal I got used from unknown year - notice the hand throttle attachment point is much higher up and presumably allows/requires more travel?

second pic is confirmed style of an '88

wondering what years got which, and what the bracket looks like that holds the manual throttle sheathed cable end for the first one?

I got a little more info on this - the second pic is from a jan 1988 fj62 while I physically put my hands on one from the first pic in a dec 1987 fj62

so it seems the change happened with the 87 to 88 model year change

can anyone else confirm with pics from 88 or 89 model years?

My Jan '88 has what you show in the second pic, along with actually having the hand throttle, if that helps you at all.
