I have perhaps even more experience than you with both vehicles. I can also spell Sequoia as well.

Explain to me how you could possibly have more experience than me with two 2008 vehicles that I own?

Also re spelling - re-read the above post. Clown.

And he sucks you in...

"None so blind as He who will not see." comes to mind here.

Pagemaster I must commend you. The truly impressive leaps of logic in your arguments are almost as breathtaking as your pigheadedness.

Well done 'Hoss'.

Pagemaster, didn't you see the 200LC in person for the first time like a week ago? You gave us your fist impressions of driving the 200LC in this very thread.

Pagemaster: Can you please post the BEST photo you can find of a Sequoia offroading?

Hey boys, no need to make any of this personal.

I am simply saying, that both vehicles can do the same things as each other while one is better in a few things than the other.

A $76k, the Land Cruiser is totally overpriced. End of story. The Taylor Swifts and the Kate Gosselin's sure like it, but that is a lot of money for what you get...

YouTube - LC 200 stuck ?

He has street tires on that rig, no wonder he's stuck. Those tires are useless on any vehicle off pavement. Besides that, the rock he is on is covered in slim from seaweed and kelp. It's very similar to the rock here on our Northern west coast beaches. Walking on it is hard enough with deep sand underneath.

That looks like the LC has the LX570 suspension with 20 inch rims. Most likely Michelin Lattitude tires.

They're only "overpriced" as you can't afford one. What a bitter little man you are. See ya:flipoff2:

Carl, I've had a Land Cruiser before. A 100 series, while being well built and capable, it was the only Toyota I ever had that left me stranded.

The platinum version Sequoia up here is $70K +. Now who's talking about about over priced? The sad thing is we can't get the 200 in Canada unless we buy the LX570 at $100K +. I would have a 200 in a second if Toyota would sell them here.

I have driven the sequoia and the Lexus. They are both really nice mall cruisers, but the sequoia is too wide. The Lexus was the perfect size but with too much bling... 22" rims - Come on!

goneloco,
I understand it is straight forward importing an LC200 from the USA, have you considered this option?

Canada should have the LC 200. Maybe even a diesel model.

There is a gap between the $69k Sequoia and the $103k LX

Can I get an assessment of the LC200 vs. the Isuzu Trooper please?

Hmmm yeah I'll take my LC any day, better turn radius, better looks (IMO), and more capable. I bought my LC because I wanted it over a Sequoia. I did a lot of looking for a long time and decided the LC is more for me. If I wanted to stay on the pavement I would have bought the Sequoia but I want a Rig I could build into an Expedition vehicle. It all depends on what you want.
