Was there any known change in lug stud length over the course of the 200 series run?

I have a 2016 and ran a set of Dakar Evo Corse wheels with stock studs, no spacers, aftermarket splined lugs, and it worked without modification.

I sold them to another mud member with a 2013 200, and running the same setup, he had to trim down his lug bolts by ~1/2" to fit.

This made me curious if there were changes in lug stud lengths over the production run?

Apparently I just misunderstood. He didn't have to cut the studs, he removed some spacers that were there from the previous owner. My failure to comprehend. Apologies all. Happy Saturday!

Hi Charlie,
I don't know the answer to your question but wanted to share some more info/clarify.....

I bought your wheels. They are working great (& it was nice to meet you!) When I bought my My 2013 200 series, it had Rock warriors with 1" spacers.....To fit your whees I removed the spacers. Which works great for my use. If I had wanted to run the spacers I would have had to replace the studs holding the spacers to the hubs OR cut the studs holding the spacers to the hubs down ~1/2 inch because they were too long and the threads were proud of the spacer/back of the wheel interface. This wasn't a problem with the rock warriors as they have pockets on the back side that those threads coud sit in without cutting....

I'll see if I can get some photos later today to show what I'm trying to say.....

Best,

Rob M

Makes perfect sense. I just misunderstood. Sorry!

(I also corrected the year. I had '19 instead of '13, not that it matters since my question was kind of stupid, in retrospect).
