Thanks for reviving this thread. I have done the fr/rr diffs with 1/4" fuel line and new oem check valves and plan on doing the trans. And transfer case this week when by redneck skid plate arrives. But until this thread popped up I didn't even realize the locker actuator had breathers. Add something else to the list.

This is the only diff breather kit I am aware of but it's $100 ish. Tidy tho.
For my money, I went with fuel filters. As to the transfer/gearbox breathers they are joined at the gearbox with an OEM one way valve. I simply added a tee in the line coming from the rear diff and joined it in there.

Damn, I may have to go bling: http://www.42draftdesigns.com/categories/products/vacmanifolds.html

I did a single point breather, no bling manifold but just as functional, started at the rear axle, rubber line to steel 1/4" line where it hits the frame, one "T" in for the transfer case, another for the transmission, CDL is already teed into the transfer case, another "T" at the front axle then up to the master cylinder with a cheap 1/4" fuel filter to atmosphere.

I just did some fuel line and aquarium stones. Breaths both ways now :)

BTW I wound up getting a (6) station Polyconn Manifold (aluminum) from Northern Parts. 1/4" NPT out and 3/8" NPT in. PART NO. 425006

I also ordered some barbed hose fittings from McMaster:
5346K18- 1/4" NPT to 3/8" hose
44705K383- 1/4" square head plug
44705K384- 3/8" square head plug
*Bump*

Joey is this set up still working well for you?
This looks to be another problem that needs a solution I did not yet know I had 🤣

I saw Perth Diesel performance makes one in Australia but just looking for a quality manifold for breathers, one and done buy once cry once.

Thanks

yeah I need to make something. I don’t like anything I’ve seen including the ARB one 🙄

Well that answers did for me tell me when it's time to order please.

I was thinking along the lines of a threaded aluminum block manifold and at the top sort of a master style mini air filter something that would go on like a little mini Honda 50 motorcycle.

I know some guys are concerned about the residue could also do a manifold that attaches to a mini catch can then a small filter.

Here's the link to PDP they still use Stones so I'm not sure if it's any better than everything else.

Haha @BillyGoatMTB - I think you get the daily award for “blast from the past bump” :D

I mean that as purely a funny, no shade

I highly doubt @NLXTACY had even hit his “wit’s end” -thread yet that spawned the whole mega-corperation ;) he is Prez of, hahahaha.

yeah that thing is alright I guess.

Here is what I did to “improve” the ARB one by using 1/8NPT fittings instead with 3/8” tube instead of their 5/16”. The fittings are better now. I would make it so that each chamber is isolated instead of shared. I’ll give it more thought. I also used rivnuts instead.

Very nice
I like the threaded rivets, much cleaner than a built to fail self tapping screw.

I do like your idea of not having a shared vent, with that an aluminum billet could easily be milled straight through and threaded to accept individual inputs and output.

For the output side are there any other options besides stones?

it’s not stone it’s sintered brass.

Ahh thanks

I may have some aluminum stock around the shop, a few holes, drill / tap and sintered brass filters might just do it.

Can you recommend size and type of tubing? And compression connectors?

Edit, I'll just click easy till you come up with a pro Wits End level breather kit 🍻
