Diesel without electronic ignition?

3b with turbo on the flat highways of texas should be fine.

btw, does diesel have a really long storage life vs gasoline? I know gas separates which can kill a fuel pump on gas driven cars but what about diesel?

I still have a container of bio I made in 2002. It still is in its same state since that time and shows no sign of separation.

diesel fuels can grow algae in them which can block up filters and play havoc with pumps

You can let it settle and filter it before you fill your tank. Heck that's what I use to do writh my veggie oil when I ran it 50-50. As long as it's clear and has no water I don't see a problem. Pun intended.

Definately drive a non turbo 3b first before you go putting one in a truck. I love that engine, but you can't possibly fathom how underpowered it is in stock form. You need to experience it...in rush hour...in summer...up some hills...with a new girlfriend in the passenger seat who your trying to impress...and yes, it happened to me. The good news is I got a turbo and she married me!
