I have installed the new ignition barrel with the Glow position and the 5 wire Glow switch for my diesel conversation.

New switch with a different plug because of the power wire for the Glow plug,

I was not able to wire the plug for the trailer lights because the color code of what was used for the original build verses what the Toyota FJ40 wiring diagram says and let my Buddy wire the plug and it worked.

Has anyone made the switch? I don't want to crosswire and have nothing work.

last night I got out my Toyota electrical manual for 1978 cars and went to the FJ40 section. Found the ignition switch on the schematic and of course the color code is different then the code used to build the truck. Of the 4 wires only one was the same as the drawing. So with a magnifier I made notes on the schematic for the color code of each wire on the ignition switch. Now I need to see if the new switch is marked for each pole so I can identify the color code for the wires that will match up with the existing wiring.

I found a BJ60 Canadian electrical diagram at Amazon. My new ignition swatch is for, so for what I need it should work to figure out the function of each wire.
