That's a sweet looking piece of truck gear. Who makes it?

More pics LCPhil..... I really like how it fits to the flare... Dish the dirt, who makes it...

Yes sir...been slow though. I ordered another 180 die from JD2 for 1 1/2" tubing to bend a step for the sliders. Been waiting on it for a week now.
A couple of things, one I've decided to make them weld on. Second, DELTED By Moderator. Third, I need some measurements from someone with the double cat set up. Mine only has one and the exhaust has been modified. So if someone could give me some measurements that would be great.
And thanks for the compliment Kevin. I wanna do something radical with one. I got some crazy ideas... :hmm: Like a fold down ladder off the back side, or an integrated tire mount that's lockable. Something innovative... we'll see.

What measurements do you need? I have OPOR sliders and a factory double cat '97 system.

Just the length & width needed for the shielding. Basically if you measured from the middle of the sill to the start of the cats to the end. And how deep they go into the under body measuring from the same point... does that make sense?

Hey @UnderDawg what thickness is the 2x3 tubing? I need to make new sliders for mine. Thinking of doing a 2x3 base slider with 1.75 x 0.120 for the kickout/steps. My current sliders are a steamy POS. They were already installed on the truck when I bought it. I think they're the universal Frail Gear brand. Look what they did to my freaking rocker panel

3/16" thick its a stout piece of tubing and I'd say more than up to the task. When I made stuff for Disco's I used the 2x2" & 2x3" both 3/16". Readily available too always helps. 13/4"x .250 would be slick for the rub rails. Do you have a bender or gonna do it the old fashion way with heat and a hammer?
That sux about your rocker Jose. That's what happens when you actually use your rig though right? Let me know if I can help in anyway.

Cool, thanks for the info. I think I'm gonna cut them off after the mounts and maybe add another 2 mounts for stability. I don't have a bender but I was looking at picking up a JD2 Model 3. That one can't bend .250 though. Wonder if I should just use 2x3 3/16" square tubing for the base slider and rub rails. Thoughts on that?

If your mounts are solid and your happy with them thats 3/4 the battle won. The 2x3" IMHO is the best size for the main. As for the rub rail thats up to you. I would use tubing if you can or you can miter your step/ rub rail like I did before I had a bender

Can you re-word this?

@LandCruiserPhil got anymore pictures of those sliders? I like how flush they sit with the body and I'm very interested in making myself a pair similar if I have some pics to go by.
